Tour Diary

July 19, 2008

Hello everybody! We are going to be documenting our travels over the next few months and will be posting videos, photos, and inscrutable writing for your viewing pleasure.

We’ll be wandering through America in our new tour van, Moby Dick or, The Whale, which is a green monster equipped with a TV, valance lights and a significant carbon footprint. Our first leg of a periodic tour schedule will take us through the kudzu-filled Southeast, from Louisville, KY down to Athens, GA and back.

Tonight, we’re kicking it off in grand style with a Live Taping for Television: We’ll be taped for Charter’s program “The Set.” Cross your fingers, we were sideswiped into having to play the show with a new drummer, whom we’ve practiced with twice. We’re all professionals here. No problem.

And, finally, in time for the tour, we have been added to iTunes, Napster, Amazon, eMusic and all the other mp3 providers you could ever want. Tell all your friends, shout from mountaintops…
